1976 GMC Sprint Twin brother of the Chevrolet El Camino. It seems for several years El Camino's where sold under the GMC flag. Eric Stefik from Las Vegas NV. helped me identifying this beauty : The 1977 model has vertical bars in the grill, but the 1976 model as pictured here has a mesh grill with diagonal lines.
