1960 DeSoto Fireflite A typical late 50s luxury road cruiser. I love these impressive huge front ends and big tail fins. But it was the end of an era. Bad sales forced Chrysler (who owned DeSoto) to close down the DeSoto production lines pretty soon. Yes, life's hard, even for car manufacturers.
