Fan mail - TLC

There are those who believe I'm crazy... liking TLC man, that's no good.
But these babes already well treated my attention with their smash hit 'Waterfalls' on the previous album. I never suspected they were able to repeat this success.
A friend of one of my sisters put this album in my hands knowing I appreciate good music, no matter where it comes from and said 'You'll have to try this, it's really good.'
There I was with a TLC album in my hands, hoping nobody would see me. I knew the bands latest hit 'No scrubs' - I liked it but not in a smashing way. I supposed it was the best song on the album so I still wonder why on earth I did put the CD in my stereo after all and even listened to it.
The album stayed in the player for a while, basically because I was to lazy to change disks and that's how I got to hear it several times. First it was just nice back ground music.
Then it conquered my attention and it was real nice to my attention - again. 'Silly Ho', 'Unpretty' and 'Shout' (love that song - great instruments) are impressive pop songs. The band has indeed invested tons of money in it, lots of tiny special effects but never too much, always in place and even catchy. It's professional pop music and it still has soul and damned it's addictive.
I like this album more and more, hell I even discovered you can dance nicely on most of the songs. It rocks in a very different way. And I even find the lyrics to be entertaining (Dear lie... you suck...you say you could fix anything... instead I'm fucked...).

All soundclips are in Real Audio format. Quality may differ and is generally acceptable - though never as good as CD or MP3 music.
