I was always curious how badly Americaritus (the US car virus) had infected other European countries, especially France. You don't see many American cars in this country and I always kinda wondered if there were any.

Since I was spending my holidays in France I was trying to combine it with a US car meeting over there, so after querying a search engine I ended up browsing through the A.C.C.F (American Car Club de France) calendar.
How convenient of them, they had a meeting at Soisy-sûr-Seine in the suburbs of Paris on September 17th, 2000 about the same period as my holiday trip.

I didn't expect much as I headed to Paris that Sunday, perhaps some Cadillacs and some Corvettes and lots of Voyagers and other mini-vans. But they had a very sweet surprise waiting for me.
I arrived shortly after midday and discovered a big park filled with lots of metal American beauties... among them several gorgeous Firebirds.
