the dukes Ranch - Heultje/Westerlo, Belgium
This years' edition of the Heavy Sunday Meeting replaced on short notice
the C.C.C. meeting at Goes because this show was cancelled. In a few weeks time
another location was found at the Dukes Ranch in Heultje/Westerlo, only a few miles
from my porch. Yihaa!
The weather was fine that day, sunny but clouded.
My brother joined me on this trip. He knew the place where he's a regular
visitor for his horseback riding classes. We left late in the afternoon
(the old rise 'n shine problems) and arrived in time to see all the
cars return from their 30 miles visiting trip to a nearby ranch.
Most, if not all cars were club member rides, mostly Corvettes, some Firebirds
and a few Camaro's. Though I'm a big Firebird nut, I love the voluptuous
lines of Corvettes too. So, it proved to be a great occasion to brush up
my knowledge on these metal ladies...
