These are my oldest surviving models, all made during my school days.
It all started when I was about 4 years old when I build my first model aircraft
somewhere in the early 70s. It was an Airfix Me-262 and I still remember vividly
the light blue plastic and me sitting in the corner of the kitchen working on it.
Of course dad helped me a lot, especially with the painting.
During the next few years I learned to do it all by myself and over time I managed
to put together almost 200 models, mostly aircraft as they became my main point of
interest.
Today my dusty shelves count some 100 survivors which you can admire partially in this gallery.
Please enjoy this collection of old plastic scale model aircraft, most of them aren't
that great compared by today's standards, but I like them and sometimes when nobody is looking,
I'm proud of them.
