I'm always looking forward to this first show of the New Year, it's a great way
to pick up normal life again after dealing with all this Christmas and New Year
celebration madness.
Unexpectedly this very same day my grandfather at the age of 92 was hospitalized
and I had to cancel my plans. I was a little disappointed but these things happen
and one has to adapt his plans to the more demanding tasks (meanwhile granddad is
back healthy and home again).
I was glad a friend of mine was able to visit the show and he even took a few pictures
which he kindly passed to me.
The subjects are mostly dioramas as this is his main interest but I understood
from his brief explanation there was a lot more to admire in the competition area.
He wished he had taken more pictures after I explained him the reason of my absence but
all in all I'm glad I still can show some pictures.
